Adler Lea, seventeen years old. Finished two classes of gymnasium. Born in Zboriv, Poland. In the first period of the occupation they carried out a pogrom. After the pogrom, there was an aktion. During the action, they decimated almost all the Jews of the city. From cold and hunger people died en masse. During the liquidation of the ghetto, I, together with my parents and brother, hid in the camp. Not being eighteen years old, I had to leave and part with my parents. I hid with my relatives, to whom my parents sent me. Coming out of the bunker, I discovered that my parents, poor things, were not alive. I left the bunker on August 19, 1944.

אדלער לאה 17 יאר אלט. געענדיקט צוויי קלאסן גימנאזיאלע. געבוֹֹרען אין זבוֹרוב אין פוֹילן. אי אין דער ערשטער צייט פוּן אקוּפציעס האט מען געמאכט איין פוֹגרום. נאך דעם פאגראם איז פוֹרגעקומען איין אקציא. אין דער אקציא האט מען אוֹיסגעענדיגט כּימעט די גאנצע שטאט ײִדן. פוּן קעלט אוּן הוּנגער זענען גשטורבן מענטשען מאסנביז [ווייז]. ביים דעם ליקבידירן דאס געטא בין איך מיט מיינע עלטערן אוּן מיין ברודער אוֹיסבהאלטן זיך אין לאגער. ניט הוֹבנדיק 18 יאר האב אין געמוּסט פערלאזן אוּן צעשיידן זיך מיט די עלטערן. אויסבהאלטן האב איך זיך מיט מיינע קרוֹיבים וואס די עלטערן האבן מיך אהינגעשיקט. ארוֹיסגעענדיק פוּן דעם בוּנקער איך דערוווסט זיך דאס מיינע עלטערן נעבען [נעבעך?] לעבן ניט. ארויס פוּן דעם נקער בין איך דעם 1944 19/VIII.
